Route Optimization

NextFSM can automatically optimize routes:

1. Select work orders to include
2. Click Optimize Route
3. Review the suggested order
4. Apply or adjust as needed

The optimizer considers:

• Travel time between locations
• Time windows and SLA deadlines
• Technician skills and availability
• Vehicle capacity for parts

Technician Availability

Manage when technicians are available:

• Work schedules - Set regular working hours
• Time off - Mark vacation and sick days
• Breaks - Schedule lunch and rest periods

Unavailable times are blocked on the calendar.
