Track parts, materials, and stock across locations
Inventory Management
Keep track of parts and materials across warehouses and technician vans.
Stock Locations
Organize inventory by location type:
- Warehouses - Main storage facilities
- Vans - Mobile inventory for technicians
- Customer sites - Consignment stock
Each location tracks:
- Current stock levels
- Minimum quantities (reorder alerts)
- Reserved stock for planned work orders
Products
Define the parts and materials you use:
- Name and description
- SKU for identification
- Category for organization
- Unit price for billing
- Reorder level for alerts
Stock Moves
Transfer stock between locations:
- Click Transfer Stock
- Select source location (From)
- Select destination:
- Another location (warehouse, van)
- Used/Consumed - for parts used on jobs
- Add products and quantities
- Choose status:
- Draft - planned transfer, stock not yet moved
- Confirmed - stock moved immediately
- Confirm transfer
Move Statuses
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Draft | Planned move, awaiting confirmation |
| Confirmed | Stock has been moved |
| Cancelled | Move was cancelled |
Stock Adjustments
To correct stock counts without a transfer:
- Go to Inventory > Stock Levels
- Find the product and location
- Click to adjust quantity
- Enter adjustment amount (+/-)
Work Order Parts
When completing a work order:
- Technician selects parts used
- Stock is deducted from their van
- Parts appear on service report
- Inventory is updated automatically
Van Replenishment
Keep vans stocked with needed parts:
- Review van inventory levels
- Create transfer from warehouse
- Technician picks up stock
- Confirm transfer completion
